Phyllis E. Greenberger

Phyllis E. Greenberger, MSW is President and CEO of the Society for Women’s Health Research, an advocacy organization working to improve the health of all women through research, education, and advocacy. Under Ms. Greenberger’s leadership, the Society has turned a national spotlight on women’s health, strengthening federal support for women’s initiatives and improving women’s access to clinical trials. Ms. Greenberger is one of the twenty most influential women in medicine today, according to The Medical Herald. She received a public advocacy award from the Clinical Research Forum, was named one of Washington’s 100 Most Powerful Women by Washingtonian Magazine, and received a Red Dress Award from Women’s Day in recognition of her work in leading the fight against heart disease in women. She is Co-Editor of The Savvy Woman Patient: How and Why Your Sex Impacts Your Health, a resource guide that details differences between women and men across major health areas.
