David B. Agus, MD is Director of the Spielberg Family Center for Applied Proteomics and Research Director of the Louis Warschaw Prostate Cancer Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He also is an attending physician at Cedars-Sinai and an assistant professor of medicine at nearby UCLA. Prior to joining Cedars-Sinai, Dr. Agus was an attending physician in the department of medical oncology and head of the Laboratory of Tumor Biology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. His research has focused on understanding the biology of cancer and the development of new drugs and treatments for prostate cancer. In addition to his basic science investigations, he has led the clinical trials programs of the Prostate Cancer Center, hoping to get drugs from the laboratory to patients. He graduated cum laude with honors in molecular biology from Princeton University
