Scott E. McFarland is President of Cleveland Clinic’s Wellness Enterprise. In this role, he works to bring many of the Clinic’s well-known, clinically validated wellness programs and products to patients, consumers and businesses to meet their health and wellness needs. Immediately prior to joining the Cleveland Clinic, Mr. McFarland served as Vice President of Innovation, Product Development and Product Management of a publicly-traded health management and disease prevention services company. His professional background includes leading business transformations through large-scale client server integrations and eBusiness strategies. He is a frequent lecturer on webenabled health care and commerce issues at numerous universities and professional meetings. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the American Bar Association and the American Intellectual Property Association. He earned a bachelor of science from Purdue University and a doctor of jurisprudence from the Drake University Law School
