Gail B. Nayowith is the Executive Director of the Laurie M. Tisch Illumination Fund. Prior to joining the foundation, Ms. Nayowith was the Executive Director of Citizens’ Committee for Children of New York (CCC). Before CCC, Ms. Nayowith worked for the New York City Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Alcoholism Services, the Department of Health, Human Resources Administration, and the Health and Hospitals Corporation. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Marion E Kenworthy/Sarah H. Swift Foundation, Philanthropy New York, and the Fordham University School of Law Feerick Center for Social Justice and Dispute Resolution. Ms Nayowith is a Fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine and a member of the Advocacy Council of Citizens’ Committee for Children of New York.
