Lisa R. Davis is the Vice President of Corporate Communications at AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP, US. Lisa joined AstraZeneca in 2006 from AARP, where she led all communications and public relations efforts. Prior positions include National Deputy Press Secretary for the Clinton/Gore ’96 Re-election Campaign; Press Secretary for the Democratic Leadership Council and the Progressive Policy Institute; Staff Director of Communications and Professional/Public Services for the American Bar Association; and Director of Communications for the National Bar Association. Her professional accomplishments include serving as a guest columnist for PR Week; a Fellow at Harvard University’s Institute of Politics; a Trustee for the Delaware Art Museum; and a Board member of the National Chamber Foundation (U.S. Chamber of Commerce). She is a member of the American Bar Association Standing Committee on Strategic Communications and the Conference Board Council on Corporate Communications Strategy. Lisa holds masters degrees in Business Administration and in Public Administration from Howard University and a bachelor’s in Communications Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
