Ronald I. Dozoretz, MD, is the founder and Chair of FHC Health Systems, a behavioral health service company. He is currently Chairman of ValueOptions, a subsidiary of FHC Health. He regularly participates in setting health care industry standards and has been recruited by health policy makers in the White House to assist in the development of national health care policy. Dr. Dozoretz is a founding contributor of the Dozoretz National Institute for Minorities in Applied Sciences at Norfolk State University. He is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science at Eastern Virginia Medical School and an appointed Fellow at the Center for Public Leadership at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He received his medical degree from the University of Buffalo and his bachelor’s from the State University of New York.
